We are often asked what the difference is between the mattress guarantee and warranty? In short, the guarantee will offer a replacement or repair free of charge but within the warranty period it will come at a cost, depending on how long you have had the mattress or bed set
During the guarantee period, which is usually between 1 – 3 years, any manufacturing defects will be rectified at the expense of the supplier. These defects will include sagging, issues with the spring systems, poor workmanship, etc. If, after assessment of the mattress, the manufacturer finds that the issues are due to a manufacturing fault, they will repair or replace your mattress at no charge to you.
If you experience any problems with your bed during the warranty period, it will be assessed by the supplier’s representative, and then repaired or replaced if needed. You will, however be liable to pay a portion of the repair/replacement cost, which will be proportionate to the number of years you have had the product.
Each manufacturer calculates the amount due by you differently.
